# Anti-spam is a bit aggressive

I posted a reply to somebody’s question, but I’d used the bottom Reply button instead of the per-message Reply button, so it didn’t show as a response to the question.

So I deleted my post and tried to used the per-message Reply button, but that was rejected because it was too similar to my previous (now deleted) message.

And then I hit some sort of rate limit that made me wait one minute. And then (possibly because I didn’t want a full minute?) got asked to wait 23 hours… which means I’ll have certainly forgotten what I was going to say or lost all motivation to say it by then.

I don’t have a specific suggestion, but some combination of the above could probably be made a bit more chill. 😊
