# Applied for GV in Dec/15/2021 and completed biometrics Jul/4/2023 - still awaiting pre-approval?

Pre-approval happens before biometrics, it allows the appointments to be made. Final approval is completely opaque. We did (3 people) biometrics in January of 2023, have 1 final approval and the others are complete radio silence.
