Please what is the requirements for the ESS residence program in [Malta](https://nomadgate.com/malta/).  
Some agents say one needs a rental contract for at least one year or contract for buying property.  
Can one do this application yourself or do one need an agent?  
What is the time frame from the date one submit to government?  
The tax of 5000 Euro’s per year is that for a married couple or per person?
