Is there a serious delay to renew the expired resident cards under the GV program?

Any update on the progress to renew the resident card. Heard there is a serious delay still.

No. i dont think there is much delay.

Oh really? Might be my fd’s experience is very unique.

I suppose it depends. They opened up 10,000+ slots overnight. If you didnt get one of those slots then there is a delay until they open more. I meant that if you are timely there isnt a delay.

When they say “Residence Permit Renewal” – do these refer to not just GV but any types of permits too, like D7?

No. they only mean GV. Heard there is serious delay in renewal of resident cards for GV.
