Agreed but there is much in the law that doesn’t make sense.
Where in the regulations does it say that dependents get the 7/14 treatment? I couldn’t find it.

I’ve taken that flight several times and was at the Park 'n Fly lot waiting for my BOLT within 20 min, with luggage. Nobody at passport control nor customs.
I think you can use egate for enttry
But a passport stamp is better
Yes, we definitelly want passport stamps. On the way out which will be from Porto, we are going to spain within EU so no passport stamps expected, but we’ll be going by air just to keep the boarding pass stubs. Train tickets are all electronic which you may or may not have used.
Never had issues with the card - in fact, even those countries that previously used to ask questions, stopped. Travelled to Spain, France, Serbia etc on this card, never had any trouble. That was before it expired of course and could not be renewed… Back to Schengen visa, which is a nightmare.
I have no problem spending 30 minutes at the border as long as they let me in. The price is worth the admission ticket. This whole thread is a nothing-burger, if you ask me
EU To Launch Digital Border System On October 12, Replacing Stamps For Visitors
Does AIMA know this? Or they’re going to continue demanding stamps that no longer exist?
I wonder if it’s really going to happen this time? This is my niche interest lol, as I have been curious to see how this will affect people who are already living in Portugal while still waiting to receive their first residency cards, some people without even Pre-Approval. Not to derail the topic of conversation in this thread, I know that is the situation for some people on this forum. Considering that residing in the country is now implicitly one of the requirements to not have your lawsuit dismissed, things may get interesting. If EES does come into effect on time, would it be worth starting a new thread to report border crossing experiences for those in Portugal without a card?
There is another thread that contains plenty of information on this subject: Moving to Portugal right after pre-approval. Perhaps we can just expand on that one.
Let’s guess…
Yes, they know.
No, the procedures for visa renewal won’t change
