# Tax representative in Portugal question

Hello.  
What is the latest on this: Do you still need a tax representative in Portugal if you are not residing in Portugal and are still awating your final approval after biometrics?  
Also if you are renting out your house in Portugal, is a tax representative the only person allowed to submit the receipts to your renter? The rental managment company says they can? The lawyer with power of attorney says a tax representative should and the lawyer cant? What is the real story? Thank you.

I can only answer your first question: the tax rep situation has nothing to do with your GV process. Whether you need a tax rep or not (regardless of GV) is described in details in a dedicated thread here:
