I am an attorney in Dallas and I purchased an apartment in Lisbon in May 2018, and officially started the Golden Visa program in April 2019 when my family’s first residency visas were issued. We love Portugal despite the recent issues at SEF, and spend as much time as possible in Lisbon. We have travelled extensively throughout the entire country and are slowly learning Portuguese, and look forward to applying for citizenship in Summer of 2024!
