Retired. Lived in San Francisco California for 30 years and then to Santa Barbara California for the past 5 years. Political discourse has declined significantly and has crept into personal relationships for nearly everyone. Covid has also created a desire for a personal reboot (due to enforced “at homeness” and new places to explore and travel to. My wife and I have always loved traveling to Europe and look at Portugal as a great home base for European travel. Love the people and friendliness there and will be living in the Algarve with a large expat English speaking population. Will live half year in Portugal and half year in the US. That may change over time to more time in Portugal.
