Hello everyone!
My name is Joana Soares and Iโm the administrator of EduSetPT. I founded this company last year, after working long time as a Portuguese teacher, and I now promote PLA courses in partnership with recognised entities that can issue the certificate.
As a Portuguese teacher and citizen I make sure that the teachers working with us really teach contents that show what it means to be Portuguese- National Anthem; Holidays; Myths and Legends; Specificities; etc. and we make sure our students really care about Portugal and our identity - I believe this is our strength as PLA course promoter.
We have already certified one hundred students, mainly Golden Visa holders, that we understand are the most interested and motivated learners.
I am at your service to clarify all questions and doubts.
Hi Joana,
Can you clarify if EduSetPT offers the PLA courses in partnership with Qualifica Centre Network and relevant authorities, adhering to the guidelines of Ordinance No. 184/2022 of 21 July and 183/2020 of August 5?
Also, are the PLA certifications issued by EduSetPT recognized for Portuguese Citizenship applications?
Finally, can you share the cost of the 150 hour course?
Hi!
EduSetPT has a protocol with AEP and AEB, both with Centro Qualifica and both working with public schools, so the certificates issued by them are the ones required for the nationality process.
The fee is 922โฌ for the intensive 11-12 week course.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Have a great evening
Thank you. I appreciate the transparency and the fact that you publish your class schedules on your website.
Hi, I live in America, work full time and have kids. Are there any courses that would work with my time zone (ideal study time would be late in the evening, US Pacific time zone, or maybe on weekends)?
Any times that would work on east coast of USA? It would be 10 pm Lisbon time!
Do you have any plans to offer a 2 hours per day class instead of the current 3 hours? Based in Asia, we have to choose a time thatโs typically late in the night. The 2pm class is 9pm here. A 3 hour schedule makes it a very tiring long day
