Awaiting Final Approval (Stage 4)

Today, I went to AIMA in Espinho to check the status and was told our case is still “under analysis.” In other words, despite new process with biometrics and payment at the same time, and the portal status changing to “Transferido SIISEF”, we’re still waiting for the final approval result.

I was told by my lawyer that when the status changed to “Transferido SIISEF”, it means that your application has been approved and you should wait for DUC and payment. It took almost two weeks for me to receive my DUC after that status change, however 3 months after the payment, I am still waiting for the card.
