New AIMA Process - Receiving Final Approval/Residency Card

I am starting a new thread for people who have undergone biometrics under the new (starting in January 2025) AIMA process to see when they receive their final approval/residency cards. This is for people that: (1) underwent biometrics in 2025 under the new system, and (2) paid the fee at your biometric appointment (no DUCs). I think it would be helpful to understand when individuals received their residency cards (or confirmation of final approval) from these appointments. These seem to be moving at a different pace than individuals who paid DUCs. If you have any information, please leave your application date, resubmission date, biometrics date, and final approval/residency card date.

I have tagged some individuals who appear to qualify under this category including: @heidieckard, @flowershack, @anon19331392, @momo, @apsinghmd, @cbab, @anonymous88, @kgoff74, and @Duontheway. If I tagged you incorrectly, or if you didn’t want to be tagged, I am sorry.

We had biometrics in Porto on March 13 2025 and paid for myself and my wife at the appointment. Our initial submission was June 2023 and we filed a lawsuit October 2024. No cards yet. Tomorrow will be 90 business days from biometrics.

Biometrics under the new system , end Jan. Got cards early June with late May dates on the cards . So just a bit over 4 months.

How much were theeAIMA FEES per person please ? Is it the real estate pathway ?

EUR 6179,40

Yes, real estate

Thank you for answering Richard
So the 181euros fees are nolonger applicable !!

The (seemingly random) €181 fee is for Real Estate Investment Renewals, not the first card.

Applicable upon renewal and conversion, not the concession.
Dura lex, sed lex

I paid €181 for renewal

My lawsuit was accepted at the court and my lawyer helped to push for appointment which got eventually opened in March 2025

Our fees are an exact match for initial dependent card issuance.

We had our biometrics in Porto in March 2025 and paid the fee at that time. We have had no further information since that time. If possible, could other forum members who had biometrics in Porto in 2023 to 2025 provide the outcome and timeline. Thanks!
