The status of your payment will switch to “Pago”, that is “Settled”.
In theory yes, the DUC status should change to ‘Pago’ before the card printing process begins.
The application status remains ‘Transferido SIISEF’ forever.
My law firm keeps telling me that the issue with DUC generation is persistent and they have been unable to pay my fees. I received approval in early Feb. Seems like some of you have been able to get past this. Not sure what to do but this is extremely annoying.
Do you know roughly when ?
I just tried and tried and at one moment it suddenly worked. That was beginning of April. Good luck!

Hello, anyone did biometrics in Portimão have seen any development?
I did mine in May 2023 and no news since then. It became really boring
@Wael - My biometrics were April, 2023 in Portimão and my attorney informed me I had final approval, Monday, April 7; paid my DUC Tuesday, April 8 €6179.40, via Portuguese bank account.
@ NK, did you manage to pay the amount € 3089.7? Has your invoice status changed since then?
Supplementary/dependent GV resident card came out first april 2025
The rest r still waitinf
GV application june 2023
Lawsuit april 2024
Won nov 2024
Biometrics january 15 2025 + resident card fees paid for each person
GV lawyer is AVCO legal lisboa.
Can I ask when in Jan you did biometrics ? We are on a similar timetable in terms of lawsuit and biometrics but no cards yet and are lawyers are not sanguine about getting them before the 90 day mark.
What is a supplementary GV card?
Can I please ask where you did your biometrics? Our timeline is similar, but with biometrics in Porto in Dec 2024, so we still have to pay the DUC. We just asked our lawyers for an update, and they told us it was too soon to expect anything.
Legally AIMA has 90 business days to respond after biometrics, which if yours were last December is any day now. Not that AIMA cares about legal deadlines, but technically it is not “too soon to expect anything.”
We have similar timeline. Mine is January 22. Still waiting cards. I guess we will complete 4 months

Congratulations!! There is hope for all of us!

Consider yourself lucky that your DUC had an invalid reference number. My DUC had a valid reference number but is a black hole. AIMA now says it’s an invalid DUC and I have to generate a new one. But it ate my payment. Bank says they can’t reverse it. Bank says it’s AIMA’s responsibility to reverse it if their DUC was incorrect.
Wow! What a frustrating situation to be in with a department that is so unresponsive!
Best wishes for your situation to be resolved quickly.
Wendy
Hi TP, me too. I paid the amount and it’s like lost in the dark hole. Don’t know how long it will take to get the money back. At the meantime I can’t pay the new DUC as the reference appears still invalid after 3 days…just a disaster…
