It happened to one of my dependents that his DUC did not work. SEF immediately informed my lawyer to wait for new DUC. Two months later they sent a new DUC. Just incredible how things are managed here. So be prepared!

There was no DUC at all, the payment instruction was provided in the SEF email to lawyer. Not sure if there is any difference in practice among regional SEF offices.

Guys, I am pleased to tell you all that finally our final approvals came through!
We did our biometrics in Guarda end-September 2022. Primary applicant + 3 dependents. Our final approval was received for all four May 12, however the DUC was received only for the primary applicant. Apparently there is a change in process and the dependent DUCs can only be requested after the primary DUC is paid and updated by SEF in their system. The primary DUC was paid within a week of receipt. However, the dependent DUCs were received only this week 5th Jun and which have now been paid. So begins our final step wait for the cards…

Couple of things to try…
Click on your “T” icon top-right, and navigate to Preferences. Then see
Users - “Allow other users to send me personal messages and chat direct messages” = on
Interface - “Hide my public profile and presence features” = off

Both my former and present lawyers just WhatsApp-ed me that the final approval was received some mins ago.
My timeline:
Application submission: 7 June 2021
Pre-approval: 29 July 2021
Biometrics in Lisbon: 14 July 2022
Final approval and DUC generation: 7 June 2023 - SEF managed to grant final approval in exactly 2 years from submission
Plan to pay after 24 hours: 8 June 2023.
Edit:
Payment made: 10 June 2023 via MillenniumBCP by selecting ‘Pagamentos - Impostos’
Payment reflected on ARI portal: 14 June 2023

Can anyone help to enlighten how to make DUC payment on MillenniumBCP website?
I can only find payment for tax, social security and another specific gov payment (forgot what exactly it is), not other generalised payment for gov services, as instructed on DUC.
However there is a generalised ‘pay public services’ tab on MillenniumBCP App.
Does only the App support SEF DUC payment?
On the mobile app it is under Pay → Public Services.
I guess it would be sumilar on the web version.
