Congratulations! Do you know if 9 June was the date of final approval for Ed, or it was the date when his card was printed?

So your appointment was Oct 22 in Comibra? We were Feb 23, hopefully that gives us an idea of timeline!

Hi, Tommy - all I know is the expiry date printed on my card is 9 June 2025, so I made an assumption from that.

Has anyone got final approval from Faro lately? Wondering how long they’re taking and whether to stick or (try to) twist for my daughter’s appointment!

I post updates to the Lisbon table whenever there’s a new approval, which is roughly every six months at the moment.

As per the latest news from my Lawyers, SEF Lisbon is processing August 2022 applications at the moment.

We got our final approvals from Faro last week (23 June), we did biometrics in August 2022
Well, nearly - we got approvals for me and my two children. There’s a hold-up with my wife’s involving CEF asking for "an updated marriage certificate

I am happy to report that I can confirm this. We just got notice that ours was approved today. We did biometrics in August 2022.

Thank you for these updates from your lawyers! I did my biometrics in Lisbon at around the same time as you did (my dependents did them in Porto a week earlier, which was odd), and so I am following the tracking from your lawyers very closely!

Sorry everyone. In looking this up for Vidur, I discovered that our appointment was actually on July 14, and not in August. So, I’m a July data point.

Hi everyone, just an update I got from my lawyers for my 6th July 2022 biometrics:
“On April, SEF has requested a new bank declaration. We have manged to issue a new one and we submitted it on May.
Recently I have asked for an update regarding the status of your process, and they answered today saying that your process is in the final stages of instruction, meaning that the final decision will be issued soon.”
Hope I get that final decision in the coming weeks!

We did bio in Lisbon on the same date. Finally approved on 7 June 2023.
