Agreed - planning around AIMA’s completely random and senseless operations will just drive you mad. All you can really count on is they will take a lot longer than you ever dreamed possible.
Have whatever you need updated and drafted (with requisite attachments) on your “cloud” email server/Google Docs/etc., ready to send with your phone on a crappy connection from whatever lovely beach you’ll be on 
I also wouldn’t be surprised if last month’s AIMA GV processing “urgency” has been replaced by this month’s CPLP panic…
