I think a lot of attorney are being very cautious. You cannot submit things piecemeal under the new system - once you submit under it, your filed is locked. So I think the concern is that if everything isn’t done right the first time, the client is in real trouble.
With specific respect to Bilgehan, I had to submit my bank statement with my new documents (different bank though). I also had to submit new declarations from the funds I am invested in as well, even though it is shown on my bank statement. Again, lawyers being super cautious.

Although the file is locked, i am given to understand that AIMA can request additional documents.

My lawyer asked me to give only the biometrics pages from my passport , other asking for all pages ?
Some lawyer asking for bank declaration my lawyer did not ask ?
Is AIMA portal now open to update the family application or still only for main applicant only ?
i am a bit worried as my parents’ ari cards expired from end of 2021 (their second cards). i login to their ari portal daily to check for appointments ever since mid 2021, but nothing even now
Not to my knowledge. I have asked my attorney to let me know when it reopens. If I hear anything, I will post.

Your parents couldn’t do the online renewal that was available in 2023 or 2024?
I tried for them, did not work for them. always red warnings
Did you guys update your main application yourself? And not the lawyers? My lawyers refuse to give me the login credentials and are taking ages to update my main application
Online renewal was open until end of Aug 2024. My lawyer received card last week. Card issuance was six months from DUC payment.

What is your card issuance date: shortly after online renewal or after 5-6 months of the online renewal ?

Excuse for asking this question again, but im a bit worried. How long did it take you guys to update your application with latest criminal record, apostilled tax id, fund declaration e.t.c?
From start (fingerprinting, emails to banks and funds, etc.) to finish (arrival of documents at lawyer’s office in Lisbon), it took me 3 weeks. I’m in the US. Having done the document collection before, the second time was much smoother.
I also got the documents done for my spouse and dependents in the same time frame. However, AIMA has not opened the portal for updated documents for spouse/dependents, so I may have to collect these again if too much time passes without them opening the portal.
Also, at least two people have reported that the portal has been locked for a few days. So far, no one here has been able to provide any information as to what is going on. Hopefully we’ll get some clarity soon, but don’t wait to collect your documents.

Thanks @cj807 . “The lawyer sent me the attached image. As far as I understand, this is a DUC payment invoice. They sent three PDFs in this manner, and my name appears in the name sections of all. From what I understand, the other two are invoices for dependents, payments made for the family (Análise Familiares).”
