Hi everyone - we live in Toronto and we’re trying to book an appointment to get our Canadian Marriage Certificate / Criminal Records certified by the Portuguese Consulate (in Toronto) in preparation for PT GV application. Apparently we need to book an appointment online - but when we follow all the steps all we get is the message that “no appointments are available”. Has anyone else had this problem in Toronto? (also the process seems to be inconsistent between different consulates…).
Hi - can I ask why you are doing the legalization route when Canada is. Hague convention country as is Portugal ?
Apostille should be enough (and perhaps easier ) surely - have your lawyers advised otherwise ?
