AIMA doesn’t care about SNS and NISS numbers on the card, only NIF. I’ve tried twice to include them, but they always put N/A. Those numbers appeared only on citizen card first time, but they were correct (I mean the old ones which I’ve received much earlier)
There is always a possibility that aima does not care about anything except making people suffering as much as possible. Or maybe it is their way to express their love to people😂. Who knows? The world is full of possibilities and doubts. That’s why we - the immigrants - have to fight for our rights . Not sure since when in Portugal it becomes a common thing that staffs in government offices refuse people’s rights

GV Fund Route
Renew by physical appointment at SEF Lisbon in Sept 2024
Renewed card arrived to lawyer’s office today. I will pick it up tomorrow.
Starting date printed on the card is about 3 weeks after DUC payment.
Card validity is 2 years only.
Card fee: 3k Euros
At least i feel I am not going to be in limbo mode again.
Are you a fund or real estate / cap transfer investor?
Guess fund
Rel estate is no more available so ari comverted into a D2 special residency (special because of the allowa ce not living - only 7 days a year)
Has anyone been able to renew cards for dependants?
Update:
GV Fund Route
One of dependents received the renewed card today.
Renew by physical appointment at AIMA Lisbon in Sept 2024
Card validity is 2 years.
Card fee: 3k Euros.
One of my dependent got new card with all updated NIF NISS SNS. Although me and that person renewed on the same day/same time at the same location and we requested to update the info for both. My card did not get updated with NISS and SNS. The level of randomness by AIMA is beyond imagination.
I’m told GV property investment renewals are being done as five year D2 with a fee of 170 euros. I guess there is a fork in the road here.
I wish! No it’s just 3 year renewals in line with all other visas (except GV).
Portugal has it so together that it rewards the most “problematic” visa holders with essentially free renewals
SEF no longer exists… do you mean AIMA at Av. António Augusto de Aguiar 20 in Lisboa?
It was AIMA…
Yes, you are right, three year D2, but no big GV fee.
I think most people prefer not having those printed on their cards for privacy. With one, most places have the others anyway.
What kind of fund, real estate or other?
@live2learn
I think the fund route is still consider as GV and the fee is the same (3k) but the property investment will be changed to D2 and the fee is 177EUR.
Hello everyone,
Please give me any advice.
I just visited AIMA (former SEF) for my first renewal. Some people mentioned that the status of GV based on the property investment will be changed to D2 and the fee is 177 EUR.
Actually I was charged 605.10 EUR (already paid onsite), maybe because my GV is “fund-based” (?).
Also I will request to my bank for, 1) Declaração Bancária, 2) Declaração Fundos and 3) Declaração da Unidade Gestora.
2) is 200 EUR and 3) is 25 EUR, according to the bank.
Is there anyone who actually submitted these? Was it the same range of cost?
605? That’s a random amount, I thought the renewal fee for GV is about 3k? Perhaps 605k is the “in person” renewal fee for D2?
