Hi Thomas, any thought to adding a field in the database to capture those of us who are abandoning the program? Might be an important datapoint for future.
Is this database not being updated any more? I keep getting an error message trying to access it regardless of link I try to use (accessing from a desktop)
Main view — Crowdsourced Golden Visa Timeline Database by Nomad Gate works for me today.
Cloudflare had another outage about 15 hours ago, which might have affected NG (per Thomas’ post 2 above).
Hey @tkrunning - I was looking at Detailed view — Crowdsourced Golden Visa Timeline Database by Nomad Gate and there’s some confusion what “Final Approval” means now that “new process” folks pay their €6k at the Biometrics appointment.
Based on others’ new process reports, they move to “Transferido SIISEF” after paying their €6k. I’ve been in that state for 6+ months now, and am told this is “when AIMA starts the final verification, which can still take a few months because it requires consultations with SIS (Schengen Area Information System) and with the Government in order to check for criminal records in Portugal.”
…so that’s defo not “Final Approval” (generally “Candidatura Aceite”). The input form should make this clearer, because it’s polluting the stats.
So it first moves to “Transferido SIISEF” when paying at biometrics, then “Candidatura Aceite” at some point before the card is shipped? Does the portal show the date for the last status change?
Keeping in mind that I am (a) old process, (b) still waiting for final approval and payment … here’s what I’ve seen from others:
So it first moves to “Transferido SIISEF” when paying at biometrics (new process) >>> seems so, yes:
then “Candidatura Aceite” at some point before the card is shipped? >>> hard to say. Maybe someone who’s actually been approved/got their card can chime in?
It’s also possible “Candidatura Aceite” is only used for old-process applicants to mean “pre-approval,” but I got through Biometrics and am now in “Transferido SIISEF” without ever being in “Candidatura Aceite.” ![]()
I have seen some (old process, 2021 application) cases whose final DUC is being generated this year (“Aguarda Emissão” - so obviously they’ve got Final Approval) yet their top-line status is still “Transferido SIISEF”
Does the portal show the date for the last status change? >>> Main status, no. The billing tab does list issue dates for DUCs however.
