How much did you pay?
Less than 2k euro. Bec i a gv client
.
GV is a pay to win game…
A --lot-- less, but I also signed a contract 5 years ago so I don’t think what I paid then is relevant to what you would pay now. However, I would also say that prices have probably not gone up that much in the meantime that 10k is reasonable.
Lawyers cost a lot of money in any environment. I just had to pay a lawyer USD 750/hr for another topic, billed in 10 minute increments. However, you can probably take a good guess on what you should pay just assuming that a portuguese lawyer is probably getting… 250? 300?/hr times a certain amount of effort which assumes paying for data gathering, paralegals shuffling paperwork and checking data, time dealing with your questions, etc etc, noting that you are (probably) paying an up front all-in cost that is going to have to cover “every question you’re going to ask over the next N years”. I sort of wonder if “pay per hour” is a thing there.
Of course what is good for the goose is not good for the gander. Henley&Co get to charge triple presumably because they white-glove and hand-hold etc and you pay for the privilege, just as GCS gets real fee money for providing warmfuzzies. Some people need Bentleys or Ferraris. I was fine with a Honda Accord. But it’s hard when you’re out buying your first car and you know nothing about cars.
Basically what @tommigun said ![]()
I think we can close this thread now.
