Anyone have experience with Holborn Assets for hotel investment for PGV?

Meanwhile, get an independent expert PT immigration lawyer that you directly engage to guide you through this process, including choosing a bank and an investment. That’s where to begin, not with an investment broker’s pitch.

I had the same experience with Holborn and am now out a large amount of cash. Were you able to get anything back from them? I’m trying to figure out what to do, thanks

Sadly, no. I wasn’t really expecting to get my money back yet, perhaps naively, I thought that maybe they would be willing to work with me to reclaim some of it. But, wow: I’ve been totally ghosted after multiple attempts at communicating with them, a number of different ways. I thought my Trustpilot review would reveal SOME kind of response. I will continue to be an irritant because I think it is terribly unprofessional to not even get a “We are sorry you didn’t find value in our services. We can not remit your monies as per your contract…” etc. They just seem like the McDonald’s of finance companies…they just work in volume and minimize any contact remotely “human” in the process. I’d be curious if they respond to you. How have you interacted with them?

I have had several meetings since I backed out in February, including one a month or so ago with the senior partner where I asked for my money back and he said “they no longer do that”. So then I met with him and their legal team lead to discuss pursuing a D7 instead to at least get some return on my investment. They were agreeable and said they would assist me but now they haven’t been responding to several follow up emails. I’m going to try again today.

Wow…what were those meetings like where you were like " OK…how about my money?"? You definitely got more of a response then I ever did. And that is a great idea: seeing if they could use that money to help you pursue a D7. I would try something like that but I am now pursuing the Digital Nomad for Spain. And, to be honest, I just don’t know if I would trust Holborn with the process. They don’t seem motivated—at all—so I could imagine a lot of complications with them not staying on top of a complex process. But, like I said, you are getting some kind of response so it could very well work out for you. Well played!

Update: my client advisor was able to get me half of my refund back. So that was definitely a positive capping a long and confusing experience.
