Anyone splitting 350K investment in two funds

I am thinking of splitting my 350,000 investment between two funds (250,000 for Greytech II and 100,000 for Portugal Gateway). Since I do not fully understand Portuguese market/ economy; as well as market risk - I feel splitting the fund reduces my risk.
One of the lawyers I spoke to said this is theoretically possible but I will be the first one and the bureaucrat evaluating my application may reject it cause it unprecedented (though people often buy more than 1 property to fulfill 350K requirement) ? I will appreciate if anyone can shed some light on this or share their experience.

There has been discussion of this issue on another thread (portugal-gv-fund-comparison). From that, I understand that there was initially a lot of uncertainty. In more recent months, at least one person has done a two-way split and had the application be approved. https://community.nomadgate.com/t/portugal-gv-fund-comparison/25375/606

I know that multiple people have done this successfully at this point.

Yea it appears that it is a non-issue. Havenโ€™t heard of anyone being denied for splitting their investment. And have talked with a few individuals and attorneys who have received pre-approvals after splitting their investment. I plan on doing so.

Dhawal , would it be okay if I get in touch with you over a phone call to get some assistance regarding the Portuguese golden visa?

im pretty sure you can divide it into as many funds as you wish
just be careful if the fund allows you to place smaller sums than 350 thousand into it
most do

also pay attention to the legal fees, they can increase with the number of funds you invest in :face_with_monocle:
