Ate Logo, Portugal: Why I'm cashing out of Optimize

Thx for your thoughts. I know, it’s a risk, and I’m anxious about sending myself to the end of the line. If AIMA is still a mess I’d rather not leap into the fray. And facts being what they are, I can’t imagine suddenly processing 10k applications and biometrics will go smoothly. Then again, if it does sort of work before breaking down again I want to be in the front of the line! I’m trying to balance how I feel, what I read online, and what I’m told by my advisors on the ground and all I can say is… it’s complicated. I’m taking time to decide while ChatGPT and I weigh strategies and options :joy:

I don’t think this is accurate at all. How are Government fees 60,000 for 5 years? I paid 0 fund fees. Legal - i think i paid upto 6000 so far. And maybe 4000 more unless i file some lawsuits in future.

I think he wanted to say for a family of four.
Analise fee: 500Euro/person for first time biometric or renewal appointment. Each person needs to do 1 appointment for first card and 2 appointments for renewal during 5 years. Hence total analise fee/person/5 year = 1.5k
Card fees: First card 6k + 2 x renewals 3k = 12k

Total fee/person = 13.5k
Total fee/family of 4 = 54k Euros.
Taking inflation into consideration (Govt often increases fee every 3-5 years), 54k might become 60k or even more in next 5 years.

I paid 0 fund fees.

What fund are you in that doesn’t pay its managers to run the fund? Didn’t know those existed.
