Funny this hasn’t come up - or indeed that Uruguay doesn’t hit the newsfeed very much. It’s rather a nice place. The Economist of all news sources has indicated that the government recently changed the minimum investment for residency to $350k and two months per year in-country, which is a pretty significant change from before. Anyone pay attention to things down there?

I’ve been very interested in Uruguay. Did some research on it a few months back. Seems like one of the few countries that has really cared about expats consistently throughout the years. Please keep us updated on new developments regarding its conditions for expats… Thank you!
