I’ve been more than 5 years under GV.
My card expired in January 2025 and I’m trying to renew but impossible.
As you know, all residency cards were extended till June 2025.
I collected all documents for citizenship.
May I apply citizenship with expired residency card according to Decreto-Lei n.º 41-A/2024, de 28 de junho extended through June 30, 2025?
I will renew card, when it is possible.

I applied last week and haven’t heard anything.
Can you see your application moving forward or is it just a black box?

Hey @andyB can I ask, was your card valid when you applied? I have read that we’re ok to submit an application with an expired card as long as your residency status is valid under the temporary extension.
Dear Andy,
I applied by myself and got a processing code at the meeting by email and printed on paper. The status is accepted.
Meanwhile, I applied for article 80.
Normal PR or GV PR?
Art 80 is regular. Art 65K junto com 80 is GV
