No more $10 monthly minimum commissions effective July 1, 2021. Great news for anyone with an IB account with less than $100,000 worth of assets 
This is great news that enables us to enjoy the access to global markets provided by IB.
Yes, good news. But please remember that they can change the rules again whenever they like. I hate to be cynical, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they do this for a few years before reinstating the inactivity fee.
They will do what all banks do; rely on customer apathy and hope that lots of people won’t be bothered to move or complain.
