Hi : I have been an investor in ocean Sesimbra (IR Group) since 2018. We have stayed in our apartment twice already. I have started receiving small amounts towards interest as mandated by the court in the court administration. However, the big question is about receiving principal amounts starting Dec 2025. There are questions about viability of the entire IR group and it’s ability to infuse funds to meet their commitments made to the court

I received the rent for 2024. My first full year rent. I am also receiving the monthly interest payments as mandated by the court.
But now that Importantaltura has filed for restructuring without the inclusion of the investment assurance to Oceansesimbra, I am doubtful that the Dec 2025 payments will materialise.
I am willing to bet that IR will use this to force us to sell the units at 2018 prices and make a handsome profit on upselling to an investor as the hotel is operational.
But we have to wait till next year.

As u know Sesimbra has defaulted as on 31/12 and will likely go into liquidation.
