Portuguese Naturalization of Minors

The Eurofinesco guide on acquiring PT citizenship for children says, “As regards minors who are the descendants of immigrants, the law gives them the right to citizenship through naturalization if one of their parents has been a legally recognized resident for 5 years (at the date of the request)…”

I think I read elsewhere that at least 1 parent has to have been naturalized as well for a minor to gain citizenship. Which is correct?

If a parent must naturalize first, can the minor’s request be submitted at the same time as the parent’s or does one have to wait for the approval on the parent before submitting the minor’s request?

Typically, how long does the approval process take once all documents are submitted?

Hi, were you able to find an answer to the same question? Someone in Portuguese consulate said that minor children don’t need to have a dependent Golden visa as once parents naturalize, we could apply for children’s naturalisation too.

Not sure, if they have to have dependent golden visa too.
