Are there any US expats out there that can recommend a tax accountant in Portugal that has experience working with non-tax residents (e.g. those that are not considered tax residents under the golden visa program)?
We would prefer someone in the Algarve, but anywhere is fine as long as they are responsive, speak English, and understand how to work with our long-time US tax accountant to ensure filings in both countries are done properly and on time (we will have some distributions from investments in PT so have some filings).
