For those holding Golden Visa fund investments in Portugal, did you prepare a separate Portuguese will limited to Portuguese assets?

Hi, Has anyone created a Portuguese will so that assets can be passed on to your spouse and children ? How much would it cost ? What resources are needed to create one ? (witnesses, documents from home country etc) I am just worried what happens to my IMGA Acoes portugal investment if I croak. Bison bank does not have an option to add beneficiary which is very hard to believe. Every bank in the modern world has the option to add beneficiary, to pay on death of account holder.

I’m wondering if anyone knows what the administrative benefits and efficiencies would be to having a will in Portugal saying basically the same thing that the law already dictates. Currently, per Portuguese law my spouse would get everything, and that is the same thing I would put in my will, which seems redundant and unnecessary without some kind of legal fast tracking attached to it. Is this just a case of the lawyers keeping their jobs, or something more akin to using a trust to bypass prob…
