Hello . My residence card is PRT and it will be invalid in a few days and its validity date will pass. I still haven’t been able to renew with aima problems. How can I use it to travel to Portugal, considering the one-year extension law that was recently announced? I need a visa to enter if my card is not valid. Does anyone have any information? Thankful
You need to enter into the Schengen directly into Portugal, without any other stops in Schengen. So, no hop to Paris or Amsterdam to change planes.
You don’t indicate where you are living now but if you can get to a city that has a direct fight to Lisbon/Porto on TAP you shouldn’t have an issue entering Portugal as TAP is very familiar with the Portuguese documents extension.
