Should I be concern about double taxation if I register my company in Estonia? Would I also be required to register it in California too?

I’m considering getting an e-residency and register my online company in Estonia. But I am concern about double taxation. Would I need to register my company in both California and Estonia? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks-Joel

Hi Joel, it is impossible for anyone to answer that question if you don’t tell us what your connection to California is… I assume you’re living there? Full-time? Are you nomadic? What does the business do? Will you be performing all the work from California?

While no expert on CA law I am pretty sure you’d have to register a business that’s entirely run from the state (if that is indeed the case).
