Travelling to azores/madeira with expired gv residency card

Hi all

Anyone have experience of travelling from PT Mainland by air to Azores or Madeira with an expired GV card? Biometrics done, and fee paid, just waiting for cards to be processed. I have a contagem do tempo showing residency of more than 5 years in PT. Many thanks

I am not sure why you care about the internal flight within PT.
No border control to pass, hence no one to show your expired GV card to.
