US Citizen Looking For EU Citizenship

Schengen access is Schengen access. The pathway is so much easier with EU citizenship. Anyways, this is getting a bit off topic.

I think you can startup a business in Switzerland with about CHF40,000 investment that will give you RESIDENCY.

Maybe the US-Swiss fast-track CITIZENSHIP test can kick in after 5 years.

Most countries have a language test for Citizenship. So this may or may not big a bigger hurdle than the time in-country.

If you are looking at non-Swiss options then then French Tech Visa is a good one. And popping into Geneva for lunch is pretty easy for me living near the border.

Thank you for that suggestion Mark!

Iā€™m just wondering what actionable steps that would require, as I do own a software business that could potentially be moved if needed.

Not sure about the Swiss one but the steps to the French one are well laid out (thsesdays). Use the French Tech Visa specialist website setup by the government, and the Welcome to France website who are very responsive.
