The policy of allowing people to enter on a tourist visa and then apply for residency seems good Plenty of countries need a visa to come to Portugal to begin with. If you make that easier, you get more immigrants Immigrants are good for the economy and demographics and all sorts of stuff Don’t blame the problems Portugal is facing with immigration (largely, AIMA being overwhelmed) on the good parts of the policy, blame them on the idiots running AIMA and the Portuguese government more general…
