Very curious if that has actually occurred. I know people are focused on getting their GV approved, but is the wait all worth it if we do not have live examples of people actually getting a passport?

Proof of 5 years’ residence is a requirement for many applications for citizenship (although there are exceptions - eg when the applicant is a direct Portuguese descendant or has acquired the right to apply via marriage, or is a refugee etc.). Do we need to move to Portugal and reside in the country during the citizenship application process?
Do we need to apply for permanent residence permit before applying for citizenship ?
Thanks

Chapter II of the Law is divided into three sections. Section I deals with “Acquisition of nationality by effect of will”,…

Hi, thank you for sending all the forums. I am yet to find anyone who has gone through the process, that is why I am asking. Most of these forums talk about the requirements rather than actual examples? I might have missed it though.
