They just got it done for me earlier this week. So keep harassing them and they should be able to do it. It sounds like some error where they have to keep retrying?

News came that Lisbon office is processing final approval of biometrics on May 2023.

I’m interested to know if the “Start date of mid-April” means that is your day 1 of the count towards “5 years to filling for citizenship “ AND does it mean you cannot apply for your second round of visas until two years from that date (and therefore again delaying the time to apply for citizenship?
I would look at this to answer your question. Day 1 “apparently “ starts from the day you paid your analysis fee.
What about the biometrics done before, they might have been shipped to other cities?

3.5 months from what appeared to be a successful payment for me, still waiting…

Given the chance, I’d personally love to do Biometrics all over again under the new 2025 process (even though that means new apostilles, etc.).
Payment taken and confirmed in-person at Bios (none of this “Did it work?” rubbish, or waiting 3.5+ months after it worked). Approvals and cards 6-8 weeks later. Seems like a whole other planet to the one we’re stuck on.

My payment was done on 28 Jan 2025 and the date of issue on the card was 28 Feb 2025. My lawyer received the card end of March / Early April.

I would also expect the waiting time to be 2-3 months. Anything above that is really crazy. But we can never count on that until we receive it…

Still totally haphazard. We pay at almost the same time, and yours processes normally while mine is delayed.
Was planning to visit this summer to do my seven days, but now no idea whether it will even count… and I’m one of the lucky ones (for getting final approval at all)!!!
