I wanted to share an update regarding our Golden Visa application.
We have finally heard back from our lawyers, and my biometric appointment has been confirmed for 4th May 2026 in Cascais. Our original application was submitted in May 2023, reapplication was done Mar 2025 and this appointment is specifically for myself only.
We had submitted the application as a family — including my wife and son(16 years old) — so I was hoping that all our appointments would be scheduled together. As we will be traveling for this, it would be quite challenging to make separate trips for each of us.
I’m wondering if anyone else is in a similar situation where only the main applicant has received an appointment, while the family members are still waiting. Is there any possibility of coordinating the appointments so that we can attend together?
Also, could someone please confirm if Cascais is close to Lisbon? We are considering arriving a day earlier and would like to know if meeting in Lisbon beforehand would be convenient.
