I am getting ready to do the GV process.
1. Cost efficiency of investment visas?
So right now I need to do the math on the cultural visa versus investment visa. Since I could potentially end up with lots of capital gains to sell stock, the one and done nature of the cultural path is appealing. Or I could create a PAL line and use that for it.
@ohbee - I saw that you did something similar. I am going to build out a spreadsheet to identify the most cost efficient path, but would love to hear the details from you.
2. Commercial real estate venture
Could I buy an apartment building, employ several people and reserve one apartment for myself as another option?
If my sister was interested in pursuing this, could we do this jointly?
3. Lawyers
I reached out to Vanessa Lima through Prime Law and her individual practice site. How long should I wait for a response before looking for another? I was a NYC big law lawyer for a while and pretty much respond to emails within 5 minutes, but I am assuming that is maybe not the culture in Portugal?
