I’m considering Copenhagen as a base for four to six months while working remotely and trying to get a realistic picture of the rental market before making any plans. I’d prefer a regular apartment rather than a hotel or serviced accommodation.
I’ve been browsing Copenhagen Quarters ApS to compare available homes and rental prices, and areas such as Nørrebro, Østerbro, Amager and Frederiksberg all seem appealing for different reasons.
For anyone who has rented in Copenhagen recently, which neighbourhood would you choose for a good balance of quiet evenings, cafés or coworking spaces, and easy access to the city centre? Also, how early should someone start looking, and are utilities normally charged separately?
Any recent firsthand advice would be much appreciated!
