D7 visa meeting in SEF (once in Portugal)

Hello Community.

I have recently got a D7 visa to enter the country for a period of 4 months.
I already have an appointment, scheduled in SEF.

I am wondering what kind of documents should I bring to this appointment?
And where can i read official list of docs required?

Also, what is the algorithm for getting:

  • Apply for a Social Security number (NISS)
  • Apply for a National Health Service (NHS) number/card ?

Ideally I am looking something similar to articles that you have on this blog about NIF and Bank account :slight_smile:

i have the same question, and i wonder why no one is responding to your question.

because almost no one here is on D7. These are all also relatively basic questions, some of the answers to which are buried somewhere in the history - however, a search will also show how little this topic is discussed here in the first place. So there is very little help to be had.
