Frustrated with the delays, an English investor decided to file a court case against SEF in April 2022. In July, the judge decided the case in the favour of the investor and mandated SEF to speed up his process.

I have been asking my lawyers about this. Apparently SEF has not granted the appointment booking they were told to, so it’s unclear what will happen next.

That is back-asswards (as my dear Mum used to say). All this $$ pouring into the Portuguese coffers ought to stir them to streamlining the process so they don’t alienate others like myself.
