How I Ended Up With Optimize

It only hurts the community if people keep their law firms a secret.

The point of my post about law firms is that, after interviewing quite a few, I concluded that doing the legal filings for the GV is quite easy. Any of the firms I interviewed could have done it with equal effectiveness.

I’m just a month ahead of you and also West Coast. Let’s hope for the best.

I also invested about half the total amount with Optimize. I liked how fast and easy it was compared with the other route. But I also wanted a little diversification, hence I still have to jump through hoops and my FBI background check expired, so now I have to redo it to finalize the other half of my investment. A little annoying, but that’s how it rolls.

My experience with Optimize has been terrific. Great people to work with, excellent returns and much better than the hocus hocus business of venture capital funds who sit on your money for years without offering any liquidity and guaranteed returns.

Yes, I agree there’s a disconcerting lack of transparency with venture capital firms.

There is a group for one of the Optimize funds. But I agree that a group for them as a fund manager is a current need.

Note that at the top of the post that lists these private groups, there is a link that indicates a NEW list of groups (as of 2024/25 I believe).

Hi Sara, do they have more than one fund that qualifies for the Golden Visa currently? If no, why isn’t the group for that fund sufficient?

Just trying to understand why you feel there’s a need for a separate group for Optimize as fund manager—perhaps I’m missing something.

I have a question for those invested in Optimize:
If you choose to subscribe to the Optimize fund through a bank like Bison, do you still need to open an account directly with Optimize? I’m getting mixed messages from both the bank and Optimize, so I’d appreciate any clarification.

Bison customer here ,if you are really into optimize skip bison part, very expensive and adding extra beurocracy. Optimize also have a fatca compliant so as a us person no need to worry.

I’ve been looking at Optimize as the most straightforward option to rollover an IRA into. In preliminary talks with Holborn they said that they’ve recently dropped Optimize from their direct offerings. I didn’t get a firm reason for this but they indicated it might have been related to some sort of compliance issue. Has anyone heard of an issue with Optimize that might go beyond any internal agreement between these two companies? I’ve already sent a general inquiry to Optimize and I’m waiting to hear back from them about having an initial conversation.

I see no need for that whatsoever. What we have is more than enough.

Absolutely no need, you don’t even need to use any 3rd party for a money transfer - save a lot of money and time.

I might be cynical, but my hunch would be that other funds pay them much higher referral fees than what Optimize pays… :money_with_wings:

I have had a great experience with Optimize and highly recommend them. I used an SDIRA to fund and it went smoothly. I was at an GV gathering of folks in process in the Seattle area yesterday and Optimize was the preffered pathway for those who invested.

How far along are you in the GV process, and how has that been going? Thank you.
