How do you validate this statement “ I settled on [Optimize]for several reasons. It is a Portuguese firm with roots in the country. The vast majority of [Optimize]investors are locals, so Golden Visas are not the main business”

Usually they would only tranfer to the original account, unless the account is closed or resticted. In that case, you would be asked to provide supporting documents.
I also used Optimize and have been happy so far. I was not looking to make a huge amount of money, I invested so I could feel somewhat secure that it would not be lost. I used a reputable law firm in Lisboa and they also vetted Optimize and so far so good. Have not received my appointment for Bio-Metrics yet but I feel comfortable knowing my attorneys, (Large firm) are on my side.
Would you mind sharing the law firm you used? It’s over a year later since your original post, are you still happy with Optimize?
We used CCA, they are very responsive and everything was hassle free. Fairly good at responding and my application has been filed, now just waiting on Portugal. Optimize has been great, the investment can be checked daily on their website if necessary. In todays market the investment feels secure.
Optimize was ok but I walked away from the GV (due to law changes). I made a new post about my redemption.
Hi Rebecca, sorry for the delay. I used Optimize as I thought the fund was the best option for me a mixture of Portuguese public stocks, bonds and some other EU aspects. I used CCA as the law firm and they have been wonderful. I have my Biometrics appointment in December, so around a year from investment date. We shall see, the new does change my outlook some but the investment is performing as expected so not in a rush to pull it even if we change our minds.
