How to move household effects to Portugal from the US

Hello,
Hoping someone has advice on best way to move one’s household/personal effects from the US to Portugal? And are the any recommendations for storage facilities? I hope to relocate my important items to Portugal prior to my actual move since I may need to remain in the US a little longer than I would like.

there are freight/container companies in the US that do this. google them.
I am sure they will store it for you in Portugal, for a fee.

Same thing happened to us. We ended up paying for storage for a container in the shipping yard until they gave us the paperwork. Lawyer could do nothing.
