When giving the deposit details to your bank to initiate a wire transfer to Interactive Brokers, does the bank need to be informed of the Bank Account Number in order for it to go through correctly? On the Interactive Broker’s website it says do not share this information with anyone, but if I don’t share it with the bank how will Interactive Broker’s know that the transfer is from me?
