Since then we are just waiting, is this normal for everyone else?
Yes, it is… My bio was in Jan 2023 in Lisbon and nothing ever since.

maybe not posting here in this forum was what was keeping my application on hold. We got final approval for main application couple of days ago, asking us to over 6000 euros for card printing fees. Finally
Hold on, you did your biometrics in November 2023 in Faro and jut got approval? My husband and daughter did theirs in August 2023 in Faro and are still waiting… Under a year is super-fast and you appear to have jumped the queue. Did you file a case?
Annoying to hear that the real estate GVs apparently get to renew for pennies while others are paying full price??
I’ve seen anecdotes of both real estate funds and non-real estate funds renewing for the lower price too. Don’t know if that’s an error though. I’m not holding out hope that it’ll still be that cheap by the time I renew…
Maybe I am confusing first card and renewal fees…
My Biometrics appointment was held on April 2023 in Portimão. I have no news, 1 year 5 months. Does it take that long to get the temporary residence card?
Even longer - 1 year 9 months and still no end in sight…
