Italy: Is There a Valid Path to Residency by Purchasing € 1.00 Properties?

I know there’s a development requirement that ends up costing much more, but I’m keen to discover if anyone that has pursued this route can share their experience.

  • What kind of visa would I require at the outset?

  • What timelines are we looking at?

  • Can one live in another part of Italy whilst continuing to develop the property?

  • Are there multilingual lawyers, real estate agents or other legal experts specialising in this?

  • What are the minimum requirements/qualifications?
