Legal help to deal with HOA

Hey Everyone,

We have a situation where we have ongoing damage to our condominium (that we own) due to exterior water infiltration through the building ceiling. The past year the HOA collected money and supposedly fixed all external problems. The facade/exterior is entirely under the condominium regulation unfortunately.

The HOA were initially were communicative but unfortunately after 6 months after reporting the issue and a lot of back and forth, we don’t have a resolution and the HOA stopped responding to our queries.

I have exhausted all options including imploring via email (only form of communication).

Looking for some suggestions and legal resources so that I hopefully get this addressed before the heavy rain season.Any lawyers you would recommend that you worked with?

Any opinions/recommendations much appreciated.

I would like to add that I offered the following solutions to them -

  • Allow me to pay for the repairs and get the resolved
  • Put temporary water proofing in place so further damage doesn’t occur
  • Or at least give us a timeline on if/when any repairs would take place

I have gotten 0 responses on these.

Literally going through this right now. Lawyer is the right choice, I am with AGPC but only in the early stages, so can’t review them on this particular fight just yet.
