Marriage certificate question

Hi everyone,

My spouse and I got married in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where they do not show the date of issuance for certified copies of marriage certificates – the apostille service I used confirmed this today with the county clerk’s office.

So, I have a month-old (at this point) certified copy of my marriage certificate – which has also been apostilled – but no concrete evidence that the marriage certificate was issued in the last six months.

Has anyone run into this issue with New Mexico (or other state) marriage certificates? Do you have any recommendations for what I should do? Thanks!

That’s a new one. Would ask your attorney if you have one but maybe you can also submit your dated request (assuming there was a form you fill out) and the receipt (assuming a fee is paid)?

Thank you! I have asked my attorney but they are often kind of slow to respond. I appreciate this suggestion – I do have a receipt. Thanks again.
